To date, DTA has been involved in the establishment of over 2,000 special districts and financing programs to fund infrastructure and services. These districts and programs provide property owners and public agencies with funding to construct a variety of improvements—from neighborhood infrastructure such as local streets, water, sewer and storm drain improvements, to regional facilities such as police and fire stations, libraries and freeway interchanges. These districts also provide recurring revenues to fund services including police and fire protection, as well as landscape maintenance.
